A full day of work, pumpkin picking, processing 3 dozen ears of corn, 2 batches of tomato sauce and a zucchini bread that was far more work than it was worth later, we have now reached Monday.
I spent the morning at the office. The afternoon will be spent making 2 more batches of tomato sauce and apple chips. I also want to make some bread (regular bread - not zucchini or pumpkin or banana or anything of the sort - just plain old wheat bread).
I can't believe I'm about to say this.
I'm almost ready for winter. At least the garden and all of the fall work that comes along with it will be done.

Busy Lady!!!!
Welcome to blogging. You are fairly new at this I see, right?
And another Mainer. I like reading about others from my area. A few months ago I got together with a fellow blogger from Maine, it was great! Thanks for leaving a comment.

Maybe I don't want to expand my garden next year!!! You sound busy! Sounds very yummy though!
The garden is 100% worth it. And what we don't grow, we buy at a local farm stand. We won't need to buy much by way of produce this winter (and we won't need to by any pork because we buy a 1/2 a pig from a friend of T's).
