Poor chicken

I don’t know who laid it, but ouch.

See the difference in size from the one on the bottom left to the rest?

This is what we found inside. 

This is the second time we find a double yolker.  The first time was last fall some time.  They’re apparently rare and with such a small flock I’m surprised to have had this happen twice in such a relatively short span of time. 

At least that explains to me why the chickens were so restless that morning. 

Either way…  I pity the poor girl that had to lay THAT beast!
